on the other post I was about to comment about how it was unusual for you to design something that resembles something "real" but then I thought I should read the description just in case and I found this... you never cease to amaze me.
P.S. you may want to implement a 'track' running down the length of the cross bow for the, oh what do you call that, that little peg that re-loads the crossbow otherwise it seems the string would get wrapped around the drum(implying you want it to follow real world physics).
and i fully agree! which is smart of you to say actually, in previous designs that i havnt posted to the public, it does have a track. one has a track going through the peg, the other has tracks on either side of the peg.
for this i left it out for a few reasons. 1- it made it harder to understand how the crossbow works, because the tracks were slightly in the way during animation. 2- i have to keep it low poly. granted i could do it with maybe 4 triangles, i dont like flat models. at all.
also i didnt think anyone would notice lol, but perhaps i should now that someone has.
why yes! [link] and the bows enchantment is to keep it mechanized. once it runs out out of souls it wont work (which is all to to keep it from being overpowered, and is an explanation of how it works at the same time)
