Lodestar (which refers to a bright star that guides travelers) is a weapon used by my god of light. who rules over a race of light users. however in my story the power of light refers to the physical properties of light instead of religious, however they still have the general effect. such as healing, uses light at twice its speed, thereby reversing time and fully healing a limb or wound, or even resurrect (and would essentially be the only way to resurrect anything). they increase their speed and strength by infusing their body and mind at close to light speeds (those traveling at the speed of light actually undergo time slowing around them)
The original light god was a sort of beast dragon, and the blade is made of the egg shell he came from. the shell carries properties of metal and is very hard to forge, but immensely strong once completed. The sword actually weighs less than 3 pounds, and is one of the few truly indestructible weapons in my story, through its own physical properties and through being forged with light. It exists in a layer of light speed, and becomes stronger in the hands of a light user, particularly the god that carries it. It also absorbs impacts completely, by holding itself universally stationary, only the user can move it.
this took a lonnnggggg time to make. I've been putting it off for a very long time, but it came out perfect according to my brain-picture... lawl. took 7 hours and 20 minutes. a bit long for me, but it took a lot of planning. made in autocad 2002! as always. oh and fun fact! its the opposing sword to Darkheart -----> [link] <-----
and opposing gods. shadow vs light. FULLVIEW or ill kill u with this sword. which would be ouch. very ouch. oh and download if u want to see the insanely annoying amount of detail you cant frikkin see in the smaller view. hopefully ur using a widescreen.
also im changing up my backround style. tell me what u think. better than overly editted gradients? well ya duh
im not so sure that the blades desing really will cut you, more like getting hit by a gigantic morningstar. ripping your opponent open.i se the pain, SWEEEEET
There is no room to hold the thing... the handle guards are way to close to the handle. Maybe have them flare out from the cross guard, or something else, but as it is iit is nearly impossible to hold. Looks great, but.... A pretty piece of metal won't do you much good if you can't hold the thing well enough to kill your enemies.
i dont recommend it lol
